Meta says app shops should be responsible for enforcing Australia's under-16 social media ban
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced plans on Wednesday local time to ban social media use by children under the age of 16 in the country. The proposed bill will be tabled in parliament this year and will come into effect one year after lawmakers approve it.
